A rank of 10000 in crl is a good rank. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IIITs would be tough to get into with this score for top courses such as cse or eee. Also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTIs) such as the IITs also would be a bit tough. You might get into courses such as chemical or civil engineering.

There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into if you are focused on courses such as cse or eee. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities. But due to the high competition it would be advisable to apply to other universities if you are not focused on any specific department.
