Well, the only way you're getting your "dream 70-80 lpa" packages is by doing CSE, maybe even IT. The other branches dont give such a high package.

Now even in CSE, bagging a dream offer is a very difficukt job and only like 5-10% students of a "very good" college make it.

The best place would undoubtedly be the "old" IITs, followed by BITS Pilani , Then NIT Trichy and Warangal, followed by IIIT-H (i personally fell IIITH is better than NIT's ) and then DTU,IIITA,DA-IICT etc.

I suggest you iiit for having good salary.
