Hello,

Based on our JEE Main rank predictor result the expected overall rank will be in between 47876 - 53820. Considering the previous year JoSAA round 6 cut off  you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes under general other state category

  • Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar: Textile Technology - 47390 (slight chances)
  • National Institute of Technology Agartala: Production Engineering- 49420
  • National Institute of Technology Nagaland: Civil Engineering- 49455
  • Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar: Electronics and Communication Engineering  -60804

With such rank you may not get seat in branches like CSE, IT, EEE in a decent NIT or IIIT. You need to score minimum 98.5-99 percentile to have good chances of getting seat in popular branch. SO if you are not happy with the college predictions you need to prepare for JEE main remaining session and score 98.5 or more percentile. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

You can check the previous year cut off using the link below

You may even have chances to qualify for JEE Main and appear for JEE Advanced. If you want to secure seat in an IIT you can start your preparation for JEE Advanced. The cut off percentile in 2020 was 90.3765335 percentile for general category. It is expected that the cut off percentile will be in between 90-95 percentile for general category for JEE main 2021.
