Not only it depends on The Rank you secured but also there is a huge weightage for Percentage you got in Class 12th.

The rank doesnot depend only on what you score in jee paper 2. But also on your board percentage.

One student scored 240/390 in paper 2 but alas his board percentage was 80. He landed up with a rank of 5500.

Another student with a score of 240 but board percentage 92, landed with a rank of 1900.
