MBBS seats in government medical colleges are divided into two parts- AIQ and State Quota. All the candidates who will qualify NEET 2019 will be eligible for admission to AIQ MBBS seats, while candidates will be able to take admission to state quota seats only when they fulfil state eligibility requirements which majorly includes the domicile criteria. The division of the total number of government MBBS seats through NEET, into AIQ and State Quota is given in the table below. Also given is the data for government MBBS seats available in Central Universities (DU, BHU, AMU), for which the respective University rules will be applicable for admission.
