Even if your list is present in the overall merit list of JIPMER, it doesn't ensure that you are bound to get a seat in there.

It all comes down to the Counselling Procedure at the end.

If your overall rank in the merit list is within 250, then only you would stand a chance to have a contest to procure a seat.

Last year, the closing rank for JIPMER Karaikal Campus stood at 240. Based on that, a rank within 200 is expected to be the best.
