The cut off each year fluctuates due to various reasons, still if we take previous year's cut off as the basis of comparison then you don't have a chance to get a government medical College in Tamil Nadu with state quota since the cut off for all the colleges of Tamil Nadu for general category student was above 590 and your score is way too low to secure a government medical seat in Tamil Nadu.

With a score of 479 in the general category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 573 was required to fetch one a seat in the Rajah Muthaiah medical college, Annamalai nagar in General category under the state quota.
