NTA announces cutoff for JEE Advanced along with the result of JEE Mains. Candidates getting more than cutoff percentile are eligible to write JEE Advanced exam through which students gets admission in IITs. It is the only exam to take admission in B.Tech course in IITs. Every year, only top 2.5 lakhs students get selected for JEE Advanced. NTA has announced JEE Mains, result. The cutoff for OBC - NCL is 72.88 percentile. An cut off percentile is 72.8887969 and you've got more than 74 percentile then you are eligible for the counselling and you are eligible for jee advanced.

It is essential for the candidates to have qualified JEE Main 2020 and have their rank within 250000, including all the categories. The total number of candidates can rise only in case of a tie, that is, if candidates get same score or rank. So in your case, since your category rank is the top 250000 candidates, you can sit for JEE Advanced.
