It is based completely on your interest and your future goals. Almost all the CS courses are taught in MnC department but there’s a difference. Mnc courses are more inclined towards Mathematics and not much coding. It is you who will have to code. The professors in MnC department won’t pay much attention.
CS department will give you lots of program to code. Coding will become our passion in CS.Also placements of CS is always higher than any other department. But still you can expect good placements due to IIT.
No,Electrical engineering is a bit more interesting than MnC as in mathematics you have to mug up a lot but in electrical you will learn about a no. of electrical devices ,their working, transformer, powerplant, power electronics, control systems,All these are practical subjects and will increase your interest in learning.Electrical is also a core branch. Also placements are not so bad.And you can sit for software companies also if you have good coding skills in your graduation.
But it all depends on your choice. If you have more interest in mathematics then you can opt MnC.
Hope this helps.
Congratulations for getting such a good results. Well coming up with choosing the branch it totally depend on you. It's not like electrical engineering is better than mathematics and computing.
