Because if you neglect any semester in preparation and in study processing then it will get result bad maybe worst in the second semester of MSC chemistry because all the semesters is inter related and have a significance and methodical relation between the subjects related in MSC chemistry course. So you have to study all the semesters in equal attention and  integration of mind. Do hard labour and try your best and go on with a systematic progress, based on the regular revise and practice method.
