At a Rank of 20k in JEE Advanced with EWS Advantage, you might have chances in securing a seat at RGPIT Rae Baereli or IIPE Vishakapatnam, but the scope and career prospects at these institutes are very limited only to Petroleum Engineering. Reliance, Vedanta, ONGC and a couple of more companies do recruit from campus but most of the Top Recruiters like Schlumberger, ExxonMobil have stopped recruiting from RGIPT Campus and other in PSU Sector like BPCL, HPCL, IOCL recruit students through GATE Exam.

Perhaps, if you are getting a Top Branch be it ME, CS, EE or EC at a Lower NIT, you might prefer it over RGIPT or IIPE. You will have better scope and career prospects.
