According to the rank you have mentioned in the question you can get top colleges as per previous year's cut-offs with General category but yes as you have not mentioned your category so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately with exact information.As you have asked for good placements then CSE or IT branch will be preferred more so I am enlisting down some good colleges which you can get with CSE or IT branch :-
