See selection of a branch totally depends on your interest. If you are interested in computers then you should definitely go ahead with CSE branch. There are many options available in this field with various specializations. Now considering the other branches like aerospace and food technology, not many students opt for the same as now also they prefer top 6-7 core branches. So there are chances that if you are interested in aerospace and food technology, you might excel here as it less competitive as compared to core branches. Now considering EC as an elective branch, it is the mixture of electrical and computers both which has the study of chips, transistors and and various other electronic components connected with computers(IOT)  branch is now slowly emerging due to the advent of JIO.
