With a rank of 1,12,212 from the open category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for the best colleges were around 50,000 in the Home state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
