It is a bit obvious that it’ll be hard to get into any NIT with the rank in JEE mains but, there are a few universities in Mumbai that you should try like, Thakur College of Engineering, KJ Somaiya, MGMC, DonBosco, etc.

If you could mention the branch that you are interested in, I would be able to help you better. Nevertheless, I suggest while looking out at the colleges in Mumbai, you book you seat at either VIT or SRM as a back-up plan.
