Its very tough to get CSE stream but you are still eligible in SDM Institute Of Technology . You are also  eligible to take admission in the best college through kcet i.e.RV College Of Engineering (Industrial Engineering) .

SDM college placements is improving every year . In 2017 355 students were placements from which 113 were itself from CSE .

Hope you are doing well. Yes you can get a seat for CSE through K-CET in good colleges with this rank. Perhaps you can get the best colleges but not in top colleges like RVCE, MSRIT and so on. There are many other colleges as well which are not considered in the top list but are having good and decent placements. You need to check for cutoff ranks of each colleges and browse their website for knowing more about the placements. I know people getting even 25,000 rank and above getting CSE in good colleges. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.
