With a NEET 2025 rank of 2,33,765 and OBC category from Uttar Pradesh, it is very difficult to get an MBBS seat in a government medical college in India. OBC category seats in most states, including Uttar Pradesh, usually close around 70,000 to 1,10,000 rank.

At your rank, you may not get a government seat unless there are some special cases like vacancies in the last round or if you have a special quota such as PWD or Wards of Armed Forces.

Still, you have other options. You can try for private MBBS colleges in Uttar Pradesh or other states through the management quota. You can also look at deemed universities, though the fees are higher. If you're open to other medical fields, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or paramedical courses are good alternatives. MBBS abroad is also an option if your budget is between Rs25–40 lakhs.
