As you have attempted both the entrance exam ie, for SRM University as well as for Manipal University i would say that you have got a decent score in your both the entrance exam and also the both colleges which you have mentioned are quite reputed in their prospective way. Now the marks you have got i would recommend that you should try with the SRM University because their your chances are higher of getting desired seats in any  campus of SRM and for Chennai campus also you can surely try for branch like Mechanical, Electrical and many more so that you can get in first or second round and where as in Manipal the chance of getting its main campus is quite low with this rank , hence you have to choose it wisely.
