You stand a good chance of getting Mechanical at Chennai and Vellore. Not many people opt for mechanical.

Since you come under slot 4 of phase 2 counselling and your chances of getting Mechanical is somewhat in dilemma because it depends on no of students interested in Mechanical branch as well total stength of seats in Mechanical department at Vellore campus.
Possibly the seat of Mechanical will fill up within 30k rank only but even sometime it may reach to 40k that depends.
But yaah you may get Mechanical branch at Chennai campus with this rank.
