The previous year closing ranks for JU for the first riund were as follows:

Metallurgical engineering 8k

Food technology 14k 

So , in both the branches , your rank is lesser than the closing ranks for the previous year. So , you can expect admission in jadavpur university. If for some reasons , you do not get a seat in first round  , then you can for sure get a seat in second round.
