Dear Sachin, now NEET is mandatory for studying Medicine even abroad. Now that NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary colleges across India. That covers most of the Medical courses. However there are Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology that have equal importance in the terms of human well being. These might not have the fancy names or reputation but these courses have been of global importance due to awareness. I am a Psychology graduate and can vouch for this at a persoal level. The opportunities and exposure a student gets is more than what one can imagine. CBSE has released a list of 123 courses at their official website for students after 12th in various streams. You can have a look at them for an idea. Your son also can pursue his Bachelor's courses in Agricultural sciences, Fisheries, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Micro biologicy, etc.
