Cutoffs are based on the current years results and the number of applicants,most of the numbers for last year's cutoffs are obsolete but just for your reference I'll put them down here.
JEE mains
CSE:125+
IT:105+
E&TC:90+
CET
CSE:110+
IT:95+
E&TC:80+
Cutoffs for Mech and civil will be below these number. So according to it your son would be eligible for majority of the courses except CSE.
