Since your son comes under slot2 of phase 2 counselling, he may have the possibilities of getting branches like ECE,EEE,EandI / E TC , Civil, Bio informatics , Aero branches at Vellore campus.
Coming to the point of fee structure of different branches so it may vary from branch to branch in phase 2 counselling.
Fee structure will depend on two factor i.e category of your branch and your obtained rank. It will higher for branches like EEE/ECE and other Electronics group and the fee will be somewhat differ for other branches like Civil,Bio informatics etc.
Hostel fee will totally depend uoon you which type of hostel you want to pursue. Various type of hostel are there including 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 sharing rooms in AC as well NON Ac which have there own different fee structure.
Roughly hostel fee will be around 1 - 1.5 lakh per year.
