The competition to get admission in NITs is very high and with the rank of 15251 in sc category it is very difficult infact impossible to get admission in NITs with the top branches like cs or ec as every one wants to get cs or ec in NITs and to get admission here one needs to have a very good rank below 8000 in sc quota . So I think you should try for some other colleges. Admission depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, number of students applied, branch selection, number of seats, difficulty level of examination ,etc .
