Master of Science in Marine Biology or Marine Science is a two-year postgraduate program which deals with the study of oceans and its biological manifestations. Marine biology is mainly concerned with the study of all the living organisms in oceans. Marine biology covers a wide variety of subjects such as biochemistry, pathology, ecology, anatomy, ocean farming, development, reproduction, parasitology, conservation etc.

The candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (Marine Biology, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Fisheries and Aquaculture). And the minimum percentage in the qualifying exam should be 55%- 60%. It does not directly depend on the 10+2 Marks but to get admission in good college to get Bachelors Degree it matters.

Hope this was helpful.

All the best.
