Hello sir,
The marks scored by your son is great. As you know that the number of applicants in these exams are so high.So most of IIT and NIT are filled before this rank.

However every college conduct 2to 3 counselling, and I would recommend you that you can wait for the chance in NIT'S. Although I would also suggest you to not just settle with this, because currently no college has started their counselling yet , keep searching until you find a suitable college. Try to keep your options open for now.
I am sure your son will find a nice college and will have a great future ahead.

Hello,
Yoir son has scored really good rank in jee mains but I'm sorry to tell you that chances of getting admission in government colleges like NITs or IIITs on the basis of jee mains rank is too low because cutoff of these colleges is usually high .But your sin can try for admission in private colleges through state counselling.
