National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE Main 2020 Paper 2.
Now, to calculate your rank for B.Arch based on the percentile score that you have secured, you can use this formula:
(100 - your total percentile score) is the percentage of people ahead of you. Also, 112679 were the number of candidates who appeared for January exam. Also, the ranks will change according to increase or decrease in the number of participants in April JEE.
So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 112679 /100.
Now, according to previous year's cutoff, the colleges which you may get for this expected rank :- 4259 also depends on your home state and category status.Now that is a rank where a candidate can get admission into a few NITs, however, you can't get admission into the top ones unless you belong to reserved categories. Here are a few NITs which you would get at this rank:-
NIT HAMIRPUR
NIT PATNA
NIT RAIPUR
NIT JAIPUR AND NIT BHOPAL( only if home state and gender consideration is favourable)

If his rank is in top 600 (score 250+) then he can easily get an architecture seat in top NITs. like SPA Delhi,NIT Trichy
The cutoff for B.Arch courses is about 50% of the total marks.
Above 70% and he can get a seat in one of the finest institutions in India offering B.Arch.
