Yes, he can get Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal Campus For B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. Previous year cutoff for VIT Chennai Campus was Rank 14,000. Amaravati and Bhopal Campus are newly opened campus so cutoff will be less for these campuses.

There are chances he may get addmission in vellore campus and also decent chances for chennai campus.he may get ece branch . For a cse branch its really high rank you cannot get in chennai and vellore campus but you can get other branches like ece eee mech in chennai and vellore campus. Particularly if you want means you need go for Bhopal and amaravathi campus
