my state rank jumped from 2100 to 3800 in ts final merit list. I belong to general category. can I expect mbbs under a cat, if so which colleges can I get into ?

You have not mentioned your state but your profile shows that you belong to Telangana. Your state rank moved from 2100 to 3800 which will definitely make a difference. Now in Telangana, there is around 4900 seats for MBBS among which few are reserved for various categories. Now with your rank, you have chances to get MBBS Seat but in private Medical colleges, while with 2100 rank, you had chance to get government seat, but with 3800 it is not possible. You can try for private Medical colleges. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change.
