hi,

congratulation on your gate score. i understand you want to know whether you should take a year for government exam(psu's) or you should go for a job in pvt sector. see firstly decide what you want to do now, job or further study. if you decide not to do mtech than go for a pvt job, because in this rank you are not going to get call from psus as psu recruitment is few. i suggest you if your family condition is not that good and you dont have any support from family go for a pvt job and parallel start preparing. if you want to do mtech you may apply in jadavpur university, nit durgapur, nit skkim, iit guwahati etc.
