Yes you could easily get some good NIT with this rank although this year's cutoffs aren't out yet but if we look at previous year stats a rank below 2-3k could easily get you into some good government college and with your obc rank you can even get admission in top NITs for further information about the opening and closing rank of different colleges you can go through the following link.
