Dear let me first clear out your confusion
Many students think that getting a obc or tfw or a category rank will fetch them good government colleges.
But the scenario is totally opposite.
Last year i gave wbjee and i know the scenario.
One of my friend had a tfw rank of 6000 and was expecting kgec but at last he did not get any college and went for iem (management quota)
Thus your general rank is checked first.
So be prepared
