There are total 2450 seats in West Bengal in which 1870 seats are reserved for the state Quota students. You rank is not enough to get a seat in WB through 85% state quota counseling as well, I'm sorry. But don't lose hope, try again next year or there are a lot of better fields ahead.

Looks tentative but mostly yes you've got a chance. You can try for Bankura Sanmilani GMC as last rank which entered the college last year was around 3500 and marks equivalent to 487 marks. So you stand a good chance here in this college. You can also try in Maldah GMC.  It's cutoff last year was 479 marks.

Aap the no. Of seats in your state are aporox 2200 so there is not much possibility for you to get a government seat . You can try for BDS as you may get a government seat in BDS easily.
