NEET 2021 reg. Sir/mam kindly reply I have completed my 12th exam in 2016 and have appeared for my final year MSc. exam. I am applying for neet this year. Since I have entered my 12th exam details, what is the code I should choose? also it is mentioned as 'qualifying exam code' what does that mean?

Hi

It's okay even if you have done msc but what subjects you had in your bsc?

  • You need to choose code 6 if you had at least any two of physics chemistry biology in your BSc, if not then you need to select the code 2 because then your highest qualification with physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021  examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

Apply to Emversity Allied Health Sciences programs

Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have already passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English

Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  in the year  with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.

Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology.

Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who are doing BSc and has all the three of Physics, chemistry and biology in their graduation.

Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

-) Physics,

-)chemistry ,

-)biology

Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.
