NIBM Pune offers a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking and Financial Services) programme at the postgraduate level. Candidates who have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category) or equivalent CGPA can apply for the programme.

Candidates must appear for CAT / XAT/ CMAT / GMAT/ GRE. As the number of applications from each socio-economic category will be different, threshold scores for each category may be determined. Minimum score for each category is mentioned below:

• General: 75
• NC-OBC: 65
• EWS: 65
• SC: 60
• ST: 50
• PwD: 50

This indicative threshold given for comparison purpose. Cut-off score for competitive entrance examination is decided every year after receiving all the applications from prospective candidates.

The selection at NIBM Pune will be based on scores obtained by candidates in the screening process, PI, Oral Communication Test, participation in extracurricular activities, academic performance, and work experience. There is no fixed cutoff as it varies every year depending upon a number of factors.
