Students who apply for MBBS seats in Karnataka and do not belong to Karnataka or rather do not have the home state domicile quota for Karnataka will be allotted seat under All India Quota ( AIQ) , which has 15 percent seats in the state. 

Under that the students have other categories like Unreserved , OBC ( other backward classes), ST( Scheduled Tribes), SC( Scheduled Classes) , etc.
