Hello Sarah,
Oncology is the course which involves the study of medicine dealing with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Medical professionals who have completed MBBS are eligible to take admission in the Oncology course.
After MBBS, candidates get the option to choose the kind of oncologist they would be most comfortable being out of medical oncologist, surgical oncologist, radiation oncologist, pathologist, radiologist and organ-specific oncologist.
After finishing MBBS, you will have to do MD in medicine to be eligible to pursue Doctor of Medicine in Medical Oncology.
Good Luck!
