As per the eligibilty criteria, we have the following points:

Candidates applying must be of Indian nationality. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will also be eligible for admissions. 

For candidates who will belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, they will have to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as per their state.

Candidates need to have completed 16 years of their age as on December 31 of the year of admission. However, there is no upper age limit. For admission to B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech Food Science & Technology, candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year. In this case, the upper age limit of candidates belonging to General category will have to be 22 years, while for SC/ST category, it must be 25 years as on December 31 of the admission year.

Candidates should have qualified or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 or equivalent) as conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as and optional or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering. For candidates who will qualify in any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will also be termed eligible for admission.

OR, Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

In the qualifying exam, candidates need to have secured minimum 45% in aggregate in the subjects taken together. (40% for reserved category)
