Hello,

Emergency medicine is an emerging field in India. With the increase of traumatic cases and injuries the requirement for ER doctors has increased in India. MBBS graduates can do emergency medicine course in order to work in the emergency medicine.

Diploma in Emergency medicine- This is a 1 year course, where MBBS graduates can learn online and also through clinical practice under the Emergency department heads of the Hospitals. You will be trained in all aspects of the emergency cases and you can also work with the team of the ER department. With this you can build emergency and critical care skills. After doing this course you will be aware of the concepts.

After doing this course, you can attend for the MEM and MRCEM in order to get an international recognition as an ER physician

Thank you
