Hello Gopi,

Here is the way to plan your time table-

Step 1 : Start by asking following questions, These are the questions you will encounter while making study plan.
1. Are you a morning person? or night person?
2. What is the longest amount of time, you can focus on one thing without being distracted (Scientifically, its 45 mins average).
3. What are your biggest distractions? (TV, FB etc)
4. Which subjects you really like and which you really don't like?
5. How long can you retain stuff? This varies for each individual and it will vary depending on your level of interest in the subjects.
6. What are your long term goals?
7. How much time can you daily spend on studying outside the class? Don't stretch too much and don't give up things like spending time with friends, It will backfire.
8. Which one thing makes you feel awesome?  Meditation, Work-out, a good run, music, journalling ? You need to recharge everyday.

Step 2: Once you have answered questions like above you are ready to plan. Now every week answer these questions while making weekly plan. Do it every Sunday night.

1. Do I have any big deadline this week? How important is it?
2. List down everything you need to achieve this week in order of your priority.
3. Without over-stretching but being not too lenient, divide the weekly goals into daily goals.
4. Remember to keep time to recharge and refresh.
5. Consistency is something you should aim. If you can't finish something you started, don't worry, be happy that you at least started.

Step 3: The below rules were mine rules which I followed . Improvise, don't do something you really don't want to.

1. Preparation

  • Take a shower(preferably cold), try to feel the water on your skin, listen to the sound of water, smell the soap.  Conclusion- Bring yourself to the present moment. Don't think, just be. It will take a while, but it gets better with practice. In short practice mindfulness.
  • After this  shower, meditate ( or take a walk outside, if its early morning or  evening, or music) for 15-20 mins. Try to keep yourself in the moment. Don't worry  about how much you have to study. Just be in  the moment. I believe  meditation is must for any one. Find the technique which works. Every  meditation technique leads to the same goal.
  • Arrange your  desk, get things you will need around. Ex. pen, papers, sticky notes,  clip-board, books. etc. Every thing you can think of.
  • Now, on  one notepad (I always keep this with me) create a to do list. The aim  should be whatever you are going to finish in next 45 mins. No matter, how much you have to get done, but just take care of next 45 mins right now. A sample list of mine.
