JEE means Joint entrance examination. Joint Entrance Examination is an engineering entrance examination conducted every year for admission to various engineering colleges in India. Ypu can appear in these after you complete your 12th. It has two phases. First one is JEE mains. If someone qualifies it, he or she becomes eligible to appear in JEE advanced which is the second phase. If someone clears JEE advanced, he or she becomes eligible to appear for counselling in IIT( Indian institute of technology ). IITs are the top most colleges for engineering courses in India. If someone clears JEE main but unable to clear advanced, he or she can still apply for NITs which are second best colleges after IITs. IIITs mean Indian institute of information technology.
Please note that JEE main paper is again divided into two, paper 1 and paper 2. You can compete in either of these or both. The Paper 1 is for those who would want admission in BE and B.Tech courses and Paper 2 is for those who want admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses.

If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask.
