70-80 percentile is a decent score. If you ask about which colleges accept this score, it also depends on the category you belong to. If you are in General Category, at a 70-80 percentile in CAT you can expect tier-2 B schools. With a decent GD, PI and percentile in the upper end of the range you may be able to get into Goa Institute of Management, Great Lakes, Welingkar etc.

To be safer, I would say you can rely on the following institutes to surely get a shorlist and start preparing to crack those interviews - Amity, IBS, GITAM, NIT Warangal, XIME etc.
