In JEE Mains there will be questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam will be of three hour duration and the maximum marks is 300.The exam syllabus for 2020 is available in the link below :

There are some chapters which have a greater weight age than other chapters.
Physics - Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Electrostatics
Chemistry - Transition elements, Coordination chemistry, periodic table and representative elements
Mathematics - Coordinate geometry, Integral Calculus, Limits, Continuity and differentiability
