JEE Mains was recently made the eligibilty criteria for getting into the Indian Naval Academy. This was done to improve the widely varying qualitty of candidates that were getting selected. To be eligible, you now need to satisfy a set of age and physical standards including 70% aggregate marks in PCM in the 10+2 Board exam and a JEE Mains score.
