Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), or the JEE (Advanced) paper releases the cut-off marks along with the results each year, but along with the overall cut-offs, JEE Advanced also has a sectional cut off, which is 10% of the total marks of that section.

For example, if the paper of JEE Advanced is of 360 marks, with 120 each of P,C and M, then you'll have to score a minimum of 12 marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to clear the exam.
