You will surely get placed if you are skilled enough for a company. During personal interview round  in admission, they may ask you why you left engineering and why you chose mass communication that's it. Get a best possible MBA college and you will get a good package for sure. You should focus on  getting tier-1 MBA institute and getting skilled enough for a company to get a job offer.
