Hi.. this is a good decision to have a backup option, SRM is good if you have booked for KTR campus. Got to know that as per UGC you can claim 100% refund upto 31st October 2021, also upto 31 Dec 2021, they would refund all your money minus 1000. Go to the UGC site to verify this and also get the refund policy via email from SRM. You can also check out for Amrita, Thappar and Chandigarh University. Few days left to register. Chandigarh University has a very good scholarship option. If you score 91+ out of 100 then your entire program will be free of cost provided you maintain 7.5 CGPA throughout your academics. Good luck for your JEE Mains and other exams!

Hello,

As per refund policy of SRM, 100% of the fee is refundable if you report for withdrawal of admission 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission. 90% fees is refundable if you withdraw in less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission. 80% if 15 days or less after the formally notified last date of admission. 50% if 30 days or less, but more than 15 days, after formally notified last date of admission. No amount of fee would be refunded if you won't withdraw admission in more than 30 days after the formally notified last date of admission. So, as of now focus on BITSAT and JEE preparations and based on how your exams go, decide whether you to withdraw admission from SRM or not.

I hope this helps.

I think the above refund policy was released on 4th March but another latest one, I guess released on 17th July, has supressed that as you will get 100% refund upto 31st Oct. Upto 31st Dec, the refund is 100% minus ₹1000. Please verify through the UGC site and get a confirmed latest refund policy from the institution itself via email.
