IIT-JEE is the main engineering entrance exam all over India however, some colleges also accept CUET-UG for B.Tech admissions. Both the exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

JEE happens in two rounds, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE Mains takes place twice in a year, once in January and then in April. JEE Advanced, however, happens only once a year in July.

CUET-UG in conducted in the last week of May.
