In order to qualify for NET in Political Science, one needs to have passed Master's Degree in the relavant subject with at least 55% from a recognized university, however there's relaxation of 5% for SC,ST,PWD and transgender. Candidates in their final year too are eligible for this.

In order to apply for JRF, candidate should not exceed 30 years at the precribed date by authority.However,there's age relaxation upto five years in case of SC,ST,PWD,Transgender and Women.

After clearing NET, you can work as a lecturer in college,if you're awarded JRF you'll get a stipend and along with this you can continue your higher studies.
