PSU alias stands for Public sector Units which means backed by Government.

Top PSUs which recruit through GATE are ONGC, SAIL, HPCL, BPCL, NTPC, BSNL, MTNL, SBI, Shipping Corporation of India, IOCL,etc. Classified under
1. Maharatna
2. Navratna
3. Miniratna

This year GATe 2018 shall be held in February and results to be declared by IIT Guwahati.
